Booking Practice
Every entry in the event includes 2 practices. You can order more practices through the Online Registration System. Please check availability on the Practice Schedule by clicking on the "More Info" button below and email dana@gwndragonboat.com to reserve your spot.
The Practice Site
The practice site is located at the western end of Downtown Disney. Parking is free and we recommend using lots O, P, or Q. Once you arrive on-site please proceed to the docks located between the House of Blues and Cirque de Soleil. A GWN representative will meet you.
Please arrive at the venue 15-20 minutes before your scheduled practice time. GWN is pleased to provide lifejackets and paddles to use, free of charge.
All team members are required to sign a GWN waiver, if not already done so online. All team members must also submit a completed and signed Disney Sports waiver. Copies of the waivers will be made available before your first practice.

GWN Dragon Boat Challenge
Combining the giving spirit with the spirit of competition can create tremendous results.
That’s the philosophy behind one of North America’s most popular festivals. The GWN Dragon Boat Challenge is a two-day festival that brings together 5,000 recreational and elite dragon boat athletes and thousands of spectators. Mark the date on the calendar, as this is the do not miss festival of the summer.
The event has moved to Marilyn Bell Park and now offers some of the best technical racing in North America. With over 200 teams expected to participate, it is the ultimate boating experience.
