Sign up for one of the most exciting festivals on the dragon boat calendar. It's easy to get involved in the races. All you need is 20 of your friends and/or co-workers to form a team, and get ready for race day.
What does a Team Entry include?
Besides the promise of a thrill like no other, your Team Entry includes entry to the race, a 10x10 team tent, one team practice with a GWN coach, and all equipment necessary to race.
Each team will compete in 3 x 500m races. Teams that belong to an organization or industry will have the opportunity to compete in an Industry Cup Race*. Be sure to select an industry during registration so you are included!Practices are held at Orlando Rowing Club from Wednesday October 7th to Wednesday October 14th and at the event site from Thursday October 15th and Friday October 16th.
*Eligibility for Industry Cup Races: 70% or more of your paddlers must be part of the same industry in order to be eligible for that industry cup race.
There are 4 different racing classes that teams can register for: Mixed, Women's, Open and BCS.
A Mixed Team consists of at least 8 female paddlers, based on a 20 paddler crew.
A Women's Team consists of 20 female paddlers and a female drummer. The steersperson on a Women's Team may be male.
An Open Team consists of any combination of paddlers (team may be all one gender).
A BCS Team consists of 20 Breast Cancer Survivor paddlers and a female drummer. The steersperson may be male and does not have to be a Breast Cancer Survivor.

Registering for the Walgreens Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival Presented by PepsiCo is easy and can be done online! The first step in signing up your team is to designate one person as the Team Captain and create an account on gwndragonboat.com.
How to Register A Crew
Only one person can register a team online. They are known as the team captain. This person will be in charge of managing the team’s registration and will be the key contact for bookings and festival communications.
To register a team, the team captain must have an online account on gwndragonboat.com. To create an account, you will need a valid email address. If an account already exists, please login using your email address and password.
Once logged in, click on Events for a full event listing. Select the event you'd like to race in and the race class. For more information about different race classes and to see which one your crew fits in, visit our FAQs. Continue to follow the registration process prompts until you are at the payment page.
GWN accepts credit card and check payments. If paying by credit card, choose either Visa or Mastercard. If paying by check, choose the check option and mail payment to:

Early Bird Pricing will only be honored if payment is received within 15 day from the date of registration. If payment is not received within 15 days, the registration will be cancelled.
A team registration is not secured until full payment is received.
We understand that sometimes things happen and a team has to withdraw from a festival. Cancellation from a festival must be received in writing.
61+ Days from Race Day
Cancellations received 61 days or more before the event will receive a refund minus an administration fee of $250.00USD (plus 6.5% FST).
31-60 Days from Race Day
Cancellations received 31 to 60 days before the event will receive a deferral credit minus an administration fee of $250.00USD (plus 6.5% FST), which must be used towards a Walgreens Major League Dragon Boat event by the end of the following year.
Less than 30 Days from Race Day
No refunds will be issued if cancellation is received 30 days or less before the event.
